A woman has been found dead in Melbourne, investigations are still ongoing

Today, police are investigating the circumstances of the death of a woman in Melbourne last night.

Emergency services were called to an address on Patrick Street in Croydon North at about 10.15pm after reports of an attack.

In the process, paramedics tried to treat the woman for serious wounds.

Unfortunately, the woman died at the scene, and her identity has not yet been officially revealed.

It is worth noting that a 40-year-old man from Croydon North is assisting the police in their investigations.
