New South Wales is experiencing such a severe housing crisis that it needs at least 100,000 homes to prevent many residents from being homeless.

A new survey in the state showed that 40% of the population consider housing and rent expenses as one of their biggest concerns.

Smith called on the state government to change the dire reality of her family and many similar families.

Rachel explained that she started looking at caravans and all the options available to secure a home for her children, as she has no relatives in the area at all, and her salary is not enough to live in another area.
