Australia news- Australia recorded the death of 37 people infected with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
And 16 of them were in New South Wales, where the state recorded 12,633 positive tests, down from the number of cases on Friday.
And there are now 1632 injured people in the state's hospitals, including 62 in intensive care rooms.
As for Victoria, it recorded 13 deaths and 8120 new injuries, in addition to 449 injured in hospitals and 35 in intensive care rooms.
The numbers come after the two states scrapped COVID-19 restrictions yesterday as they passed drastic rule changes.
In Queensland, six people infected with the virus have died and 7,212 people have received a positive test result, with a total of 47,391 cases.
513 injured are receiving treatment in hospitals, including 15 in intensive care units.
The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) recorded one death and 975 new infections.
