The number of Ethereum holders reaches an all-time high

The number of Ethereum addresses holding ETH has reached an all-time high.

Meanwhile, the number of transactions on the network remains near record levels, which indicates that user activity continues to grow.

According to the data on the Ethereum network, the Ethereum addresses that now have a stock of more than 68.26 million addresses.

This number has rarely decreased despite the volatile price history, especially last year, as the number of Ethereum holders maintained a steady growth, especially in the period between June and August.

Transactions are also trending higher, as the number of daily Ethereum transactions has reached around 1.2 million.

The number of transactions peaked in May last year at around 1.6 million per day.

These numbers are remarkably stable despite the recent Ethereum price trajectory.

The price of the cryptocurrency is down 34% from its all-time high just two months ago.

In comparison, the number of non-zero addresses for Bitcoin recently reached 39 million.

The number of transactions on the network has also been relatively stagnant over the past four years, hovering near 250,000 transactions per day.

Ethereum wasn’t quite ready for this adoption, with average transaction fees reaching $30 in 2021.

Vitalik Buterin laid out a roadmap for how Ethereum could reasonably solve these scaling problems in the coming years.

In the long term, the CEO of Pantera Capital envisions Ethereum having an impact on 50% of all financial transactions.
